I Forgot to Show You!

I completely forgot to post the Valentine's Day dessert my daughter and I made!  Better late then never!

We simply made strawberry cakes with vanilla icing that we food colored pink.  I cut the strawberries to look like hearts, let Faith place them and ta da!  Valentine's Cakes!!!

Valentine to my Husband

I will post the Valentine's gift I made for my husband. The picture is a little fuzzy because it was sent from his Android, I didn't have a chance to take a picture before he tore it to heck! At least I know he loved it!

I bought 20 little bottles of random things I know he likes, although it turns out he doesn't like Bacardi, we don't drink very much so I just guessed on those. I glued gunned the bottles to dowels, which I painted red, and stuck them in a foam square. The pot I bought at the dollar store and added the ribbon later with my glue gun. Fun fact, I didn't know the mini bottles are plastic, not glass, which makes them lighter, thus, easier to stay glued on.

Valentine's Day Ideas!

One of my favorite holidays is Valentine's Day!  I know some people think it was a holiday invented by Hallmark to make more money, but I think it's wonderful, maybe it's because my favorite color is pink and around this holiday there are pink and red things all over stores.  I don't know, but I do know is people have some really great ideas all over the Internet for the holiday.  There was so much I wanted to grab a bunch of my favorite ideas and put them together.
