This was our first year with the Elf on the Shelf, and our daughter LOVED it! She was so excited to see him every morning and throughout the day. I took pictures of the different places we found him in the house! It was a lot of fun coming up with new places!

That naughty guy turned Faith's milk green! |
He got into Faith's cupcakes! The evidence is all over his face! |
Not only was he hiding in the light.... |
...but he also dropped marshmallows on the work laptop! |
Gunter, Buzz Lightyear, and the cereal guy were riding birds! |
Faith was so surprised to see Gunter reading to her dolls! |
Close up of reading to the dolls! |
Gunter in the granola jar! |
Hanging from Charlie's solar system mobile |
Drawing Faith a picture! |
This got a big laugh because I forgot it
was here! |
Darn elf TPed the tree! |
Note for Faith, she saw it at breakfast! |
Flour angel! |
Relaxing with Faith's American Girl glasses, listening to
Christmas music! |
Rescue Hello Kitty! Note the dolls at the
bottom with the trampoline! |
Snuggling baby Jesus in our dining room manger! |
This was waiting for the kids the morning of the Church Christmas
Pagent. . |
Here is the letter from the day of the Christmas Pagent. |
I think Faith laughed the hardest at this one. |
This was Christmas Eve. Faith drew a picture of her,
Santa, Mrs. Clause, and Gunter. She wrote how much she loved
him and how she would miss him. She got a note saying how he would keep his eye on her, be good,
and that Santa lifted the magic for this one night so they could hug before he left with Santa. |
Needless to say, she took full advantage. |
Makes me want to be a child so I can believe in the story of the elf...on a...shelf.
